Presence

IMG_1715.jpg

To be fully present in the moment allows us to savor & open with all our senses. We can experience wonder & awe at the magnificence of life. Time stretches as we deepen & open. Drawing is one of my favorite mindfulness practices.

When do you feel most present ?

Cooperation

IMG_1692.jpg

Cooperation is when 2 or more entities engage in a mutually beneficial exchange instead of competing. A gardener cooperates in the cultivation and well being of the garden, along with each plant, the soil, sun, birds, insects, season, and all the unseen world. The spirit of the garden, gardener, and all who visit are nourished. This artist gardener is inspired by the beauty to create and the garden is happy to be seen and loved.

Where does cooperation with nature and community inspire you?

A time to reflect, and be a bridge person

IMG_2169.jpg

Taking time to be present and deeply reflect allows us to have insight and become inspired to creative solutions. Today we are given much to consider and sort, what is true. When we are clear, we have the opprotunity to be a bridge person- linking different cultures, beliefs, and possiblities.

Do you have a reflective practice that brings you clarity and enhances  your creativity?

Garden as a muse

June10.jpg

A garden is a living form of art using design, color, light, texture, scent, as well as movement & time. The garden can be our muse to inspire our creativity & intimacy with nature. Monet considered his gardens as his greatest art as well as his inspiration for his most beloved paintings.

Do you know a garden that inspires your creativity?

Practice

Practice deepens our skills as well as our presence. It is a humble and deeply centering activity that connects our mind, body and spirit. We may be practicing, music, yoga, art making, or kindness - a little bit each day strengthens us and gives us confidence.

What is your joyful practice?
